
Log Instrument Time in Our FAA-Approved Simulator (BATD)
Rain or shine, training never stops with our flight simulator. It allows us to safely replicate severe weather conditions that would be too dangerous to experience in a real aircraft. We can also simulate a wide range of emergency scenarios and mechanical failures with exceptional realism—all within a completely safe and controlled environment.
Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Complete and log ground training and pass the FAA Knowledge Test.
Pass an oral knowledge test and practical checkride.
Aeronautical Experience Requirements - 14 CFR 61.65
50 Hours Cross Country PIC
(At least 10 hours must have been in an airplane.)
40 Hours Actual or Simulated Instrument Time
15 Hours with an Authorized Instructor
Up to 10 hours on our FAA Certified BATD!
An IFR cross-country flight that is at least 250 nautical miles total distance with 3 different types of instrument approaches at 3 different airports.
3 hours of checkride prep within 2 calendar months of checkride.
