In 2021 my amazing wife, Brianna, and I moved back to Batesville, AR where I originally got my start in aviation as a teenager. Over the years I have been incredibly blessed with opportunities allowing me to work in various parts of the country doing aircraft maintenance, ferrying and test flying airplanes, flying skydivers in the old faithful Beechcraft King Air, spraying crops in the turbine Air Tractor, flying air ambulance in a Pilatus PC-12, and teaching people to fly in a wide variety of aircraft. Through all these experiences I have developed a growing passion for promoting aviation safety and helping people accomplish their aviation goals.

Brianna was born and raised in Bakersfield CA, a hub of agricultural and oil industries in the San Joaquin Valley. With her Masters Degree in Business Administration she has more than a dozen years of business experience ranging from marketing to provider contract negotiations in the medical field and medical insurance industry. Her business knowledge and organizational skills are the glue that holds Vx Pilot Academy together!

We started Vx with only the Bellanca Champ (Still our favorite aircraft in the fleet!) and myself as the sole instructor. We quickly grew into the fleet we have now with a  phenomenal team of instructors and administrative staff.  Look for the big "Learn to Fly" banner on Highway 167 at the Batesville Airport.
